nutrition. Eating intuitively means an inner knowing
of what, when, and how much to eat for individual needs
at any given time, without conscious reasoning or advance
knowledge. Eating intuitively transforms dieting
into inner wisdom and guidance. The body always
knows what it needs for nourishment, we are born with
this ability; however, we can get out of synch.

Intuitive and mindful eating involve a reverence for food--its
source, origin, people who tended its maturation and the
processes it went through to get to our table, as well as
an appreciation for the experience of eating. Spiritual
imbuement, or loving intention, can have dramatic effects
on foods, similar to the experiments with loving intention
on water (many plant foods, as well as our bodies, contain
a majority of water content). Ingesting food with
loving intention can leave us with a peaceful feeing, a
great sense of satisfaction, fulfillment, pleasure, and
thus restore healthful and mindful eating.
